The Hall is available to hire for a wide range of occasions, including birthday and anniversary celebrations, wedding receptions, meetings, training sessions and community events.
The main hall measures approximately 19.6m × 7.3m and can accommodate up to 120 people seated. Twelve circular tables are available, each seating up to 10 people.
When the main hall and adjoining lounge area are hired together, the maximum capacity is 150 people.
The main hall opens directly onto an attractive outdoor terrace with lovely views across the surrounding fields — a particularly enjoyable space on summer evenings.
The Hall has a projector and screen, sound system and hearing loop. A well-equipped catering kitchen adjoins the main hall and includes an electric cooker with six-ring induction hob, commercial dishwasher, microwave, tall fridge, bain-marie, hot cupboards and hot-water heaters, together with crockery and cutlery for up to 100 place settings.
Main Hall Hire -What’s Included?
Main Hall hire includes heating, lighting, use of the kitchen and kitchen equipment, tables and chairs. Hire charges apply from the time you enter the Hall until the end of your booking.
Main Hall bar: A staffed bar can be provided for most events for an additional £50 for up to five hours, plus £10 for each additional hour. The bar is included in the Wedding Reception Package.
Members’ Lounge: The adjoining Members’ Lounge may also be available to hire at weekends, subject to availability and in conjunction with the Main Hall and bar. The additional charge is £50 for parishioners and £150 for non-parishioners and wedding bookings.
Alcohol: Only alcoholic drinks purchased from the bar may normally be consumed on the premises. For weddings and certain larger functions, wine may be brought in for welcome drinks and/or toasts by prior arrangement. A corkage charge of £7.50 per bottle applies.
Wedding Reception Costs
Our Wedding Reception Package is £650 and includes use of the Main Hall, kitchen and Main Hall bar, including bar staffing from the arrival of your guests.
The package includes access to the Hall from 10am on Friday until 12 noon on Sunday, allowing time for setting up beforehand and clearing away afterwards. Friday access is subject to the Hall not already being booked.
The Members’ Lounge can be added to a wedding booking for £150, subject to availability.
Own wine may be brought in for welcome drinks and/or toasts by prior arrangement. A corkage charge of £7.50 per bottle applies.
