The Hall is available for hire for your special occasions, such as anniversaries, birthdays and wedding receptions.
The main hall measures 19.6m x 7m and can seat a maximum of 120 people and on beautiful sunny days, the outside terrace provides a an additional social area for aperitifs overlooking the glorious countryside.
Up to 150 people can be accommodated if full seating is not required and the member’s lounge is hired too. Please contract us if you have any questions on capacity for you event.
The hall has a multi-media system that is capable of projecting DVD/Blue-Ray films, music, HD TV, or linked by a computer; all with surround sound (and a hearing loop if required).
The Hall is licensed for entertainments, shows, films, dancing and singing. The main hall bar and bar staff can be provided at an extra fee. If the main hall bar is required there is an additional lump sum fee of £50 for up to 4hrs and then a further £10 for every additional hour. If the members lounge is also required, this can only available at weekends and may only be booked in conjunction with both the main hall and bar for a further additional lump sum fee of £50.00
Adjacent the main hall is a fully functioning kitchen, which you can utilise to prepare and or cook any food for your event. The kitchen carries an extensive range of catering equipment including electric cooker, microwave, fridge, bon marie, hot cupboards, hot water heaters, saucepans, crockery and cutlery for 100 place settings.
Main Hall Hire -What’s Included?
All hire charges apply from the time of entry to the hall.
All the above includes heating, lighting, kitchen, use of kitchen equipment, tables and chairs.
-Main hall bar. Can be provided if required at an additional lump sum fee of £50 for up to 4 hrs plus and additional £10/hr thereafter. The bar is for Weddings in the £500 fee which covers the extra time bar staff are required for.
-use of Member’s Lounge. Available to Hire (weekends only) for an additional £50 lump sum fee, but can only be booked if both the Main Hall and Bar have been booked. Members Lounge will only be open for use when the Bar staff arrive to open up the Bar for service – see Booking Form.
Note: Only alcohol purchased from the bar can be consumed in the Village Hall. For Weddings and large dinner dance parties we do allow own wine to be brought it, but a corkage fee of £7.50 per bottle applies and arrangements must be made with the bar manager prior to the event.
Wedding Reception Costs
£500.00 for the Main Hall, Kitchen and Hall Bar. (Bar staff from guest arrival time). Members Lounge is £50 extra if required, available Saturdays only, and open from bar staff arrival).
Includes access to the Hall from 10am on the Friday through to 12 noon on the Sunday to allow for setting up and clearing away. (Friday access is subject to the hall not having been already booked).
Note: the meeting room is no longer available as a buffet area for larger party’s/weddings. The use of the snooker room and members lounge for food service are alternative options available. Please discuss when booking.
Own wine can be brought onto the premises for welcome drinks/toasts, however there is a corkage fee of £7.50 per bottle – arrangement must be made with the bar manager prior to the event .
